Yes mm, this is the way to go. College as a training institution is a failure. Folks are being trained, but they can't think. The best companies are looking for candidates with a general background who can write and think critically.

(Oh, and you should possibly have also taken more spelling courses. -bg)

I agree 100%. My business classes are a joke. However, as a poor student, if I were to graduate with a liberal arts degree, then what? Hopefully with my finance degree someone might hire me to play with the markets!
(However I do believe the logic in most major investment houses is clearly irrational.)
