That's what happens when there's not enough francs to put escargot in every pot. <ggg> William, I'm sure there's a correlation between the state of the economy and the crime rate.

Makes sense for two reasons. When there's bucks, more money can be spent on police and a good economy results in more opportunities for more people and less incentive to commit crime(unless we're talking about analysts).

I'm looking for some Euro weakness to start kicking in. Germany reports GDP tomorrow and European Central Bank is poised to leave interest rates unchanged at their meeting Aug. 30th.

And then, who knows what will happen when they convert fully to the Euro in just a few months. The problems that could develop are potentially more serious than any monetary crises the world has experienced to date.

Good time to switch to backing the dollar and shorting gold, IMO. You may not agree.
