Oooo- KissKiss!!
I am puzzled why people find it so necessary to be nasty about a thread that wants to talk about children, books and pleasant things, a place where people don't leap on every word with their machetes swinging.

Also we don't ALL want to spend thousands of hours discussing you in minute detail, fascinating though you are.

You and I have discussed why no thread like Feelies has been able to exist again. I think back then (and for me "back then" is 96-97) people were still posting under the same rules of etiquette that governed their 3D discourse. When things got testy, it usually didn't deteriorate to name-calling or viciousness, and those who DID behave like that were quickly ostracized. They were in the minority. Also people were more respectful for the most part of contrasting views and didn't take personal umbrage at every negative comment. Now nastiness is so much the norm that we are all numb from it.

There were a lot less of us then, and far fewer threads. I suppose it is just like a small town that grew too fast and without proper zoning.

Best we can do is -- this! ANd ignore the criticism which just indicates that some people have a great deal too much time on their hands. Or else suffer from some adult form of adolescent insecurity.

I have not posted this for probably a year. Couldn't resist! For you, Poet, E, Rambi (and some of those children across the way who are trying to lift their youthful wings--:-)...)
