After listening to the Condit interview, I cannot see how the police can say he is not a suspect. He evaded every crucial question and memorized his lawyers lines which he repeated ad nauseum. The hell with the congressional seat...........give this man a police polygraph test with real questions like Connie Chung asked and he fails like a champ. You could not listen to his answers and come away thinking he told the truth. He lied about the affair, the watch box, the police events, and when he said he was a moral man I almost fell off my chair. What does he call moral..........being unfaithful. I like it when he said he didn't know Chandra that well because he only knew her for 5 months. Some people get married after 5 months of dating........I want to watch Nightline later when they interview the Levy's for their reaction.

How any democrat on the Hill can now say he's been accused of nothing and back his reelection is outrageous. I'm sorry, a missing person presumed to be dead is more important than a seat in Washington. And no..........it's not the same as Clinton's affair because there wasn't a missing person involved. Besides he owned up to it on TV unlike Condit.

<<Nader is finished now.>>

LOL! Ralph hasn't said a thing since the election to indicate that he would have preferred Gore, or to admit that he pulled ANY support that swung the election. His beef with the perceived "centrist" Democrats remains as strong as ever. Will he run again, knowing that he can never get to 5%? Perhaps not. But that is not usually how fringe candidates think. He knows he was heard in 2000, and don't think he doesn't LOVE the idea, legitimate or not, that he spoiled it for the party establishment.

That's Ralph: Take him or leave him...

Liberal-moderate Republicans ARE switching parties.

Really, well if you say so it must be true. Your posts have always been so accurate before. I'll pass the news along to the RNC...
