10:05 ET Economic Data : New Home Sales for July increased 4.9% to 950 K while the June numbers were revised slightly lower to 906 K from 922 K. The market averages have edged to new session highs in recent trade. biz.yahoo.com

Could it be possible that you are fitting a scenario to how you view the market? What I mean is that what you are laying out seems too pat, almost like the perfect storm. On another note. Today was like ground hog day, but in a delayed sense. We will find out in the coming weeks if CSCO confirmed the low in April, and if this mid base rally has legs or not. I have been saying for many moons, that CSCO health was the key to the market, as soon as read the term stabilizing coming out of CSCO press, I bought in AH yesterday! Now do I think it's off to the races now? No way. I still feel we will base for years before the next bull run will happen. But by god these mid base rallies can be very profitable. If they would only last more then day! LOL B
