Thanks, Roebear. That is of interest for all the reasons you mentioned. I am more encouraged by non-goldbugs getting bullish on the metal. Let's see now, there's Bernie Schaeffer, Security Trader, Sandspring advisors... I'm sure there are more that I'm forgetting at the moment, but the number is clearly growing. vt

Hi Roebear, Received a possible top signal for AEM last night, while TESOF was trying to hold on to some falling trendline support and HAL went to a hold. Normally I do not get too bullish with a YI -3 reading, but this time the timing appeared right for a rally, as the -3 area has been a valid support area for the market recently.... Message 16254937

Thx Roebear. That IS a big change for ST. This is clearly turning into a test of wills between the socialist command and control tactics necessary to perpetuate confetti fiat money and the traditional supply and demand forces that markets employ to define and reflect honest values. IMHO it's no accident that leading members of the left have also become notorious in flaunting other traditional values, and ethics in their personal and public behavior. This is truly a cultural war as much as it is a financial/economic one. On one side, honest money and a market economy. The other is a corrupt anti-democratic socialist command and control mentality that abuses both its power and the people within the immediate reach of it's purveyers. My guess is there are many times the number of Chandra and Monica as well as Jesse Jackson type episodes that've been successfully covered up by the left power elite. But more that will certainly leak out, as well, in future news reports - in the years ahead. Isopatch

Hi Roebear, It seems more & more people are getting fixated on Gold. That is not a bad thing IMO. More people than ever before, are able to read a chart, & understand the fundamentals. The conclusion again IMHO, is inescapable. What other commodity (other than palladium/rhodium which has had its day in the Sun), can increase in a parabolic move in one night or four or more? (more of a rhetorical question on my part to remind myself that Gold can jump overnight, (especially with the shorts lined up against it) by $100, $200 or more & keep going? Wishful thinking on my part? Maybe. But, I don't really think so... all the bits & pieces are coming into play. Regards, Peter
