Laughing Out Loud!

Peddle it somewhere else, bud - there are people on this thread with first person experience who know better.

Hi Elmer; Re: "AMD no longer has the technically superior product."

I haven't read all the posts over here. Is there a time at which you admited that AMD did have the technically superior product?

Elmer - RE: "Athlons underperform P4s in all modern benchmarks and some of those are by a wide margin."

Performance doens't matter in the overall processor market anymore. Intel is so far ahead in GHz all AMD can do is choke on the dust they have been left behind in. It appears they're having binsplit problems with the Palomino core while Intel is chugging ahead with 2GHz in a couple of days. Add to that having their fastest desktop processor barely selling for over $100 and AMD is back to the old days of pathetic ASPs and only competing in the low-mid range.

How many days until Jerry warns Q3 will have a larger than expected loss? And will it be before or after he unloads on more stock?
