Bush knows Mexico because of oil and pollution business. The oil companies do a lot of business in deregulated Mexico and export our polluting industries there too. Bush is a pollution business expert all the way. That's the extent of his foreign policy experience.

Westi: What I can't understand is what Presidente Fox is doing here in the U.S. attempting to improve educational benefits for Mexicans. What about educational benefits in the country he commands? Is he doing anything to dramatically improve education there? It seems to me that I notice many immigrants coming from Europe who are already able to converse in basic rudimentary English. How about bi-lingual education in Mexico to prepare his people for citizenship in the U.S.? Spanish language should be a required subject for American kids in school here so that they can converse with the new kids on the block too. Angler
