Oh no- it's just the stuff about understanding people, and about living in the moment, and appreciating the stages of life, that's all pretty Buddhist. Don't read anything more than that into what I said.

I am sure the blowfly is extremely important in it's ecosystem. The fact that it annoys humans, one small species (albeit an incredibly adaptive and encroaching one) isn't really of great importance, except to us. I am sure insects want to ask why the heck pesticides were invented. And Germs probably wonder why a loving germ-God would invent antibiotics as they watch their little germlings die.
