Only bea and ge are threatening new lows.

Look, it is clear: they ran ahead of themselves because "the crowd" started factoring in a 5 year outlook; they have corrected brutally; and now they are either consolidating for another move, EVENTUALLY; or the whole thing was a bubble and they won't ever do well from here. Take your pick. I think we are in a sideway consolidation with "growth" that could last for a couple more years at the most and then the growth stocks should track there e growth rates from there, and might even get some pe expansion if the crowd comes back. But the nasdaq could well not see new highs for 10 years. If demographics plays out like it looked like it would prior to 2000, we see new highs by 2006-2007, which would be quite good, really.
