If the ECB decides to leave interest rates unchanged, and the US GDP comes in lower
than Germany's, there will probably be no change in the dollar... because everyone will be
busy selling stock.

Sergio:

If the ECB doesn't lower interest rates it will make the Euro a little stronger relative to a dollar where interest rates were cut on Fed Funds and the Discount Rate... We'll probably see multinationals like IBM and McDonalds rise because of a relatively lower dollar being good for their overseas sales... As for Germany, the Dax has been behaving like it doesn't expect a pick up in its own GDP... finance.yahoo.com^gdaxi&d=c&k=c4
