Open Question: In years of volcanic eruptions like Mt P in Phillipines, the earth's food growing climate changed dramatically with inflationary effects.

I just learned from a neighbor that when St. Helen's blew out here in 1980, the winter was pretty darn bad.
Anyone know where a layperson searchable, HISTORICAL weather database by region resides that is user friendly?
