JB ...

well, shucks ...

strangely enough ... *(as if ANYTHING concerning SI is strange) ... it is only on SI that the hand fails to exhibit the hourglass when busy ...

I'm in the middle of reformatting and installing 98SE on six (6) HDs this morning ....
got rid of the lone Win2k I had experimented with this weekend *(last night)
got rid of the lone XPbeta I had

and this WinMe I have doesn't have Windows Explorer installed ...
so, in just a jiff ... *(read that sometime today )
I shall get out my Dell WinMe cd and *attempt* to install Windows Explorer ....
I could WELL have deleted it in my frenzy to get shed of all that "important stuff" that comes imbedded/installed from MicroSoft ....
as in these I know I deleted
online services
msn
hookup to internet (or what ever it is called)
and a whoooooole lot more that I've forgotten ...ggg

so, guess I'm guilty in deleting Explorer ....

now, before I get comments concerning deletion of the other Wxxxx programs ....
I own a bunch of stuff which I found incompatible with W2k ... vid cards, etc ...
and
I've made up my mind that I'm NOT going to correspond with MicroSoft every time I whirl the contents of my boxes enough to make XP shut down and demands that I calll and get another OK to use MY license/COA/stuff ....

dadgumit ... I have purchased six(6) copies of 98 and 98SE in the past eighteen months ....
paid for them as I would have paid for a W2k had I decided to go to it ... (borrowed a copy to test)

I've decided to let MicroSoft keep XP ....

there ...
I'll now quit
I'll get off my soap box
I'll go back to doing this dangblasted SLOW repetitive stuff it takes to get 98SE installed on six HDs .....

hehehehehe

thanks verrrrry much for your assistance
