Nemer,
Alternate methods:

Control Panel > Folder Options > General Tab > Click items as follows
My Computer > Tools > Folder Options > General Tab > Click items as follows

Are you sure you deleted Windows Explorer?
I didn't think that was possible.

Did you delete Windows Explorer or the Explorer shortcut?

Check for the file C:\WINDOWS\EXPLORER.EXE and if you have it, make another shortcut.

Bye4Now, FD.

Quick question -- for anyone...

Do you have a file EXCEL.HLP on your system? It's one of many help files for Microsoft Excel.

NEED ADVICE ........Again, from the resident experts!

I presently have a small Ethernet, peer to peer network using client for Microsoft Networks and a Linksys 4 port hub. I have my wife's laptop, an old P200 box and my PIII600 all using Internet Connection Sharing with a 26,400 dial up connection. :( The 3 machines all have Win Me, 2 updated from 98SE and 1 updated from Win95. The whole setup has worked great, albeit slowly when online, for 2 years.

Now I am told that cable (128K-512k), will be available in the next few weeks. I have purchased a Netgear RP114 router for some protection with the always on connection. It has 4 ports on the lan side that are 10/100 auto sensing, and I think switched whatever that means. My question is if these ports will take the place of the present hub? I realize I will have to figure out how to disable DHCP in Win Me and let the router do this function but will I still be able to share files, printer etc. as I can now?
