Having failed, utterly, at the arts of marriage, I'm not well qualified to venture anymore than a guess at it. I once wrote about a different union, long ago when I was a psychiatric aide at a mental hospital. I also was the shop steward. It's just a silly ditty, really, but something occurred today that reminded me of it. In Union How is it that we learn respect for others' rules when we detect they practice not these things they preach yet insist that we follow each? I've learned to take that bitter pill but one thing I've learned better still: to rant and rave and raise a stink; it rubs some folks quite wrong, I think, yet gives relief from all the flack and gives, to them, the ulcers back. --Kevin
