I have noticed that you have made several comments about AMD's Dresden process using 130nm transistors, making its upcoming leap to 130nm less than the leap that Intel took from 180nm to 130nm. I was wondering if you could elaborate on this. I was under the impression that AMD's Dresden process was pretty much on par with Intel's top level 180nm process (P858 was it? I always get confused over that and P860!). Aren't the Leffs still the same, for example? Anyway, I would really appreciate a whole slew of links that can clear me up on this. Thank you. :)

A number of sources have made the claim that AMD is already using .13u transistors, none of them official. The information I have I consider unimpeachable but I can't name the source here. AMD's poly CDs are in the range of 70-80nm, what Intel is targeting on their .13u process. Does this make AMD's current process more advanced than Intel's? I don't think so when you consider AMD has to do it to stay 600MHz behind. These process details are best left for the process experts to discuss, of which I am not one. I have asked theWatsonYouth to comment but he has declined to do so.
