Is anyone having any problems using AOL with Cox cable modem? My computer is constantly hanging up and dropping offline.
I contacted AOL and Cox and so far neither have been much help. In fact, with all the changing of settings recommended by Cox, and re-installing AOL ver 6.0, my computer finally gave up and I got a "Re-install windows" message. I said to he-- with it and formatted my HD and started all over. Guess what!!! Same problem, AOL still hangs up. IE 5.5 seems to work fine but I have too much tied up using AOL as my email address to give it up.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
