Well democrats have to defend him but if they make believe he really not a democrat's democrat like mr bill then they aren't just defending mr. bill all over again. Hell they are being non partisan by defending a Republican. The morality of the democrat party is not based on principle but the means to some agenda. The transparent spin of it all is just so funny. How can anyone think that mr. gary is not a democrat's democrat. Looking at the way he is hanging in so that the year 2000 election cannot be undone. It was critical that mr. bill not resign because the stability of the nation demanded it. Hell mr. al would have become President and President Bush would have had a difficult time. By the same rationale how can a democrat congressman resign. mr. al might be appointed by mr gray to replace him. tom watson tosiwmee
