JW - OK how about a guess on the market bottom:- 1. Clear now that no recovery in 01. 2. Q4 probably going to suffer more earnings reductions and revenue cuts. 3. Probably the same for 1H 02. And this is what the market is telling us today. It looks forward 6 months and it is doing so and the current downleg is what it sees. 4. 2H 02 may end up even worse than 1H 01 as further job cuts and world slowdown begins to kick in. Therefore continual slide until at least Q4 02. S&P P/E must now surely decline to single figues. NAZ bottom now looks to me likely to hit 1,000 or less. Best regards, L
