bottom guesses by March02

Dow = 7700
S&P = 970
Naz = 1300

my March01 estimate (made in Dec2k) for Naz was 1650
that was my "stick it on your frig" post

I now am agreeing more with you on the tight Fed monetary policy
FedFunds is now at 3.5%
we should be at 3.0%, a little below 3-mo TBill yield
if you think we are tight, you should check Europe
they have had only one rate cut
Euro Central Bankers are beyond clueless
perhaps they are waiting for the next leg on Euro currency rally
then they will cut rates more aggressively to stall a euro rally

then there is Asia, which will melt down in my opinion
that will initially be deemed as beneficial to US economy
because of lower import costs, lower supply costs
then soon after, the downdraft will be too much
