Actually, I am the one who launched this "cluckism" trope by referring to "cluckery". I was specifically thinking of tongue clucking over an alleged scandal (Ish and whomever), but also of the "pick a little, talk a little" song in "The Music Man" ("cluck, cluck, cluck, talk a lot, pick a little more"). It was supposed to be a one time cheekiness, but instead I created a Monster......

I think it's very generous of us to give their club a name and an identity over there.

Naturally, they realize that our wisdom here is so superior that it provides a better name for their club than they could come up with. I mean, the choice between Kissy Kissy and the Cluckers is no contest. Nice that they recognize quality, and nice that you and brees are so happy to share your creativity.

I would also note, in passing, with great pleasure that X has admitted in the past having insulted people, but has now recognized the error of her ways and feels "terrible" about it.

She has pledged tol try very hard not to insult anybody any more. I, for one, welcome her change of heart and would like to do everything in my power to help her avoid any backsliding. But I'm only one person, so I'm enlisting the help of others here. I suggest that we all be kind enough to help X out and, purely in a helpful way, if we should see her falling off the insult-free wagon and regressing to her old ways, we should immediately set up an intervention, bring the error to her attention, and help her regain the virtue of the insult free life which we here on BR so enjoy.
