That is the saddest thing I've ever read.
I hope the ant God, whoever THAT might be, feels really really sorry.
But you know, Gods often have reasons lesser creatures cannot understand.
I am comforted by that.
I am sure the ants were comforted by that.
You may be destroyed, but there was a GOOD reason.
That makes everything okee dokee.

I am here to offer you this comfort in your grief. A poem by Stevie Smith. Well, it's not much of a comfort, but I did tell you I was going to post more poems I think you'd like.

My Muse

My muse sits forlorn
She wishes she had not been born
She sits in the cold
Nor word she says is ever told.

Why does my Muse only speak when she is unhappy?
She does not, I only listen when I am unhappy
When I am happy I live and despise writing
For my Muse this cannot but be dispiriting.

Ants? AntGod? Now you can be an AntGod! bossmonster.com

The left button controls all (& spare the truck for last.)

It is an awesome responsibility... will your Eden thrive and persist? Or does the cosmos lure you to darker impulses? The AntGod must choose... do so.
