>> MetalTrader, you chartists are killing me <<

Had you solely followed TA with respect to techs this year you'd be far ahead of any other method imho.

ed,

it's ironic that charts (or was it chartists?) are killing you since they are really intended to save you. If you can put aside the purists who gaze into the candlesticks of oracle..(.or is it the oracle of the candlesticks) and not unlike reading entrails pronounce tomorrows results with certainty, charts are to me the canary in the mine.

When the price keels over, feet in the air, little x's in its eyes, I might not smell the gas but I know there might well be poison in the atmosphere. Then i either change what I am breathing or find my way out of the shaft. The bird might have just got a bad sunflower seed, but I can go back in later after the autopsy having missed a few shovelfuls of ore but alive and kicking.

Using charts does not mean you have to stop believing in "the companies that will change the world". But in mob rule the just do not necessarily carry the day. If you are smart (and I know you are), you might consider waiting for a whole bunch of other smart people to join you and run the dopes out of town. Until then you might be right, but you're outnumbered.
