I never said the game was over.

I never said there will be no innovation.

But at this point in time, there is nothing in existence and nothing on the horizon that will drive another cycle.

Eventually there will be, and that'll be a great time to own Intel and other PC related stocks. Right now you're doing better in MO with it's 5% dividend.

And also, to survive the current downturn may require a mode of operation that is radically different from what has worked before. I don't know that current management has what it takes to guide them through what is likely to be a difficult couple of years.

John, I second that. We always underestimate the pace of change and we are ignoring that sometimes the existence of a faster processor can lead to new applications which we never dreamed of.

John I agree with you. Games will drive faster PC's. For example the graphics used to make Final Fantasy the Movie could become mainstream on a PC by rendering the game in real-time and in that quality. Also, voice controlled computers that are 100% accurate are limited purely by cpu-power. The current crop of voice recognition software was designed for PC's with PII-300's. Personally, I am sick and tired of the keyboard. What a waste of time.
