Lt. Gov. Corrine Wood has tossed her hat in the ring but so far Atty. Gen. Jim Ryan has the current governor's backing.

Bill Daly was mentioned for the dems but he doesn't want the job.

BTW, the gov. gets $150k per year but when the current gov. retires next year his pensions from all his work in state government will be $170k+. And he gets to keep his $3 million campaign fund. He's still raising money and it's expected to be $4 million when he retires.
