heh-heh-heh, has anyone else noticed that CNBC switched from bearish to bullish (or at least nuetral) this afternoon? Have been paying very close attention for the past few weeks and the tone changed sharply this afternoon. Listen in on afterhours and you will hear one report after another suggesting market oversold, currently at an inflection point, too much negativity, economy has bottomed, a rally may be in the offing, etc. It started early this afternoon, and notched up in the last hour.

What a coinky-dink (ROFL)!

Most tax loss selling already taken place ?

Hmm... what about all those people who were getting in at the bottom the past 3 bottoms ?

I think some people got out of tech last fall, then may have gotten back in this year. I could be wrong...

The semi (SOX) and some enterprise software have held up pretty well, and could have further to drop.

I agree that networkers and optical have already had their fall.

So to take up the point made the last observation - the funds will BUY -

But have have NO Clue what they will buy... anyone seen anything indicating which sector is getting nibbles ?
