A belief that the government drives the economy is extreme, not in accordance with our history or values, and when put into place elsewhere has been proven to fail wherever it's been tried, throughout history and throughout the world. It also enslaves the populace, because people's behavior has to be molded to fit into the "central planning" imposed by the so-called elite few who impose their will on the many. Freedom is nonexistent in every so-called "workers paradise." It's an oxymoron. It also eventually leads to economic collapse, a la the Soviet Union, N. Korea, Cuba, etc.
