I should note that Microsoft's X-Box problems extend beyond simple prerelease unpopularity. For one thing, this is the first time ever that a major gaming expo (E3, I think it was) has a major console coming out within half a year about which there are several reports of system crashes. Addditionally, both Sony and Nintendo have a load of proprietary games which will not been seen anywhere else. On the X-Box, nearly every single game will be available for the PC. What's the point of getting an X-Box when you don't need it to play the games you buy? It's like getting a radio that plays TV channels when you already have a TV in your room!

Besides, everybody knows that Dell will be using VIA processors for their upcoming console.

Wanna: A little off topic, but did you see Tom's Hardware recent article? They showed an overwhelming majority of gamers interested in Playstation 2 over X-Box or Gamecube.

In all fairness to the X-Box, no marketing what-so-ever has been done yet (aside from a few demos here and there), while the PSX2 marketing blitz is hitting new highs on a daily basis.

Right now, the PSX2 is the hottest thing out there. That may cease to be the case when the X-Box actually debuts&#133

(although I sincerely hope that it will be a resounding failure for Microsoft)
