It was pretty close Spirit. We took extra time to count and Bush kept his lead. If we had voted a week earlier or a week later who knows? Fact is George W. Bush is now serving as the President of the United States. As for the majority of Americans, I believe a great many Americans have a mindset for change today. They even want to change things more than you and I which includes changing parties periodically. Modern people get bored easily. Parties change back and forth.
