Hello everyone. Please help. Tell me I'm not the only person who feels the new changes to NASD rule 2520 are unfair.

From Briefing's In Play section on August 27-

09:03 ET Margin Requirements Raised : WSJ Online reports that the NYSE and NASDAQ are raising the minimum equity needed by "pattern daytraders" to trade on margin to $25,000 from $2,000. A "pattern daytrader" is defined as someone who executes at least four daytrades in a single week.

I know that 25k may seem insignificant to some but I think this type of change is inherently wrong in creating an uneven playing field.
