Hi Nihil, good to see your post. RE: "The big boys in the know (Right Coast and London boys) say that this may be the big one." Maybe the Ladies on the Left Coast need to take charge of this mess. Do you seriously think this is the big one? I mean, our financial markets are structured so incredibly differently now, and there are strong signs that our local companies here (both high-tech and non hightech) have bottomed out. Also, how would you explain the jump up in manufacturing activity? NAPM was 47.9. That's getting pretty close to a return to expansion. RE: "Hawley-Smoot" "LDC's" ? RE: "My personal solution is that every student in Japan, US, and China be equipped (rented at a subsidized rate) a nice desktop and a handy laptop to take to school and plug in."
