This is an article quoting a Sun executive on his reaction to the HP-Compaq deal. He uses some pretty strong language to persuade us that it is a very bad thing in deed for PC customers.

dailynews.yahoo.com

Reading this prompted two thoughts:

1) Sun seems to be trying hard to put the public/ HP, CPQ shareholders/anti trust officials off this deal.

2) If the executive's statements were honest, he would be best served to shut up and let the deal go through. Sun executives seem to be pretty much outright deceivers these days.
