True "equipment" in story is not about the companies working on solving the problem. However, and it is also true, Yahoo poster Brewhaha interpreted the presence of Lucent as involving "equipment" since this is all they make.

As you can see the term "equipment" in the article seems to refer to 3G providers in general.

These equipment manufacturers are having enough problems getting 3G working,'' he said<i/>

Anybody want to call a bottom on the Q....it has been the one rock in my steadilly falling tech portfolio, until now........don't want to sell it, especially when I could have just sold in upper $60's, but am wondering how low she may go before reaching a bottom....personally, I'd like to see the naz have a couple of really bad days...I man 200 points down each day....get us down to 1300 level, and my guess is smart/big money, will step in and buy beaten down quality.........just my opinion, but this bear market is getting very old......personally, I am ready to start seeing some gains come back....may have to wait til next year or year after.....who knows
