Why is there a buyout coming? Why would someone want to buy their debt when they could buy their assets on the auction block for 5 cents on the dollar.

buy the debt, not the stock. the debt holders will control the company and get a share in future equity. present shareholders will be wiped out. jmho. larry

The only way this one can survive is to declare bankruptcy so that it can get rid of all that burden of the shareholders and the debtors. Then it can make a fresh start.
