I've been a homer all my life.... but unlike my unwavering support of Terp b-ball during its dark days following Lenny Bias's death, I have not been fanatical about Terp football. Since Bobby Ross' departure, the teams have been terrible. I was intrigued enough with Ralph Friedgen at the helm to watch the season opener. He made a great impression on me... largely due to his ability to get UofMD to spend $$$ on computerized video equipment. He uses it to capture and analyze the team's progress, formations, etc. Again, impressive, esp when coupled with his offensive strategies and gameplanning. Looks like they have a good chance at a strong start this season. Paul
