Also a good point, but beside the point. The US consumer would probably be better off buying pirated software, too - according to Jay, you can buy a pirated version of a blockbuster movie in China days after the movie opens in Chinese theaters. Why not allow the Chinese to export copies of pirated software to the US and call that "free trade"?
