If I understood Allan's post, his answer would be "exactly!"

Basically, I think by "Elliot inflection point" Allan meant that the market is either gonna puke, and this up move was corrective OR the up move was impulsive and we're about to get the meat of the move up.

Did I get that right?

One does not know the outcome when they are forming (How could one?). It's one of those setups where it's right at the edge and could either be the end of a correction or the turning up in the meat of an impulsive move. Looks like it will jello to the close.

That 1746 on COMPX held, so it could still be the start of something decent to the upside, although at this point I don't buy it. If that goes, well, I want to be short.

Lot's of intraday action today, but in the end, not much net movement.
