Sun, from Briefing on BRCM today.
12:59 ET Broadcom (BRCM) 30.00 -0.73 (-2.38%): -- Update -- -- Technical -- Currently working on a break below support at 30.00 -- a level it
hasn't closed below since April 17. If sell pressure would accelerate on this break, look for initial support at 29.10 which approximates the lower end of its
10-day Bollinger bands. After that, there is very little support until the area of 26.00 which approximates its April 5 close. The intraday outlook would
improve if BRCM could reclaim territory above 30.40 and hold. It's worth mentioning that BRCM is deeply oversold on the near-term indicators which
suggests it could move quickly if the Nasdaq would turn higher.

10:35 ET Broadcom (BRCM) 30.57 -0.16: Trading floor talk that company's presentation at Salomon Smith Barney conference tomorrow at 1:30 pm
ET will be positive based on unconfirmed reports from Taiwanese foundries TSM and SPIL that Broadcom has increased orders of chips it provides for
cable modems.
