I pointed out similar a couple days ago. There's a reason Bush addressed the carpenters and Teamsters and not workers more closely aligned to the AFL-CIO over Labor Day. It's called divide and conquer.

In any event, it's nice to know that Boy George is wooing labor votes. That'll guarantee three more years of government non-involvement or even sympathy to some causes of importance to America's working men and women.
