NG he hurt investors rather than company. If amd maintain market share and maintain cash and/or credit line then intel failed. I would not be surprised if amd would loose a point or 2 but that is a sign of stability because intel through everything it could at amd Regards -Albert ps not to say that amd is to have a brand new product line coming next year

Niceguy My speculation on Intel's update after the close. Revenue warning guiding the analysts down to between 5.8 and 6.1 billion and possibly lower earnings. Intel will also state that the fourth quarter looks better. The big question is how will the market respond tomorrow. With the poor market performance in the last few weeks the market could respond very negatively. John

AMD is a side story (at least until Slegdehammer comes). You have been bashing P4 (and so is sanders with his 'dud' comment), while to stock slid from "AMD deserves to be twice INTC" to "AMD is less than half INTC". You just keep making the same mistakes over and over again. why ? Maui.
