You erroneously stated what my position was, and then drew a lot of conclusions based on your incorrect assumption. Not very critical thinking imo. Here is your opening "question" again: "Well srex you are against anwar and feel there is no way to stop the evil oil companies from drilling so you accept it" That looks a lot more like an accusation than a question to me. That must make me dumb or evil to you. IMO I am neither. "But as I said above I attempt to use logic and reason and unless someone can explain what is wrong with my logic and reason then if one disagrees with me they may be illogical or not reasonable" You may want to throw in sarcasm and indignation with your logic and reason. "Well you seem exhibit the non thinkers way of ascribing to a company some motivation or morality" And throw in insulting to the sarcasm and indignation. "If oil companies benefit our population overall in a major way then the good they do far out weights the bad" I agree, but you immediately go back to drawing conclusions (incorrectly I might add) when you continue with: "and this is something that you say causes you to distrust the Americans who make up and own stock in these companies" I did not say that. Are you lying, or did you infer that from my post somehow? Please explain how you came to the conclusion that my distrust of large American corporations is based on oil companies doing more good than bad. That does not make a scrap of sense. "If drilling Anwar is more good than evil then how is drilling in other places more or less good or evil." This is another statement that mis-states anything I have said. Where do you get this? Your credibility is taking a hit with me because you are either making stuff up or drawing incorrect conclusions. Just so you know, I think that drilling in other places COULD BE "more or less good or evil" depending on the location. Each one should be looked at and scrutinized. In the case of Anwar, I am for it. If they wanted to do it in Yosemite (I know, they don't) I would be against it. Your statement makes it sound like they should and could do it wherever they pleased and that all locations would create the same circumstances as Anwar. I am sure I must be misinterpreting your point, but that is what it sounds like. "Or is it that you are of superior morality than those who you do not know. I really know very few people and I hope all approach others with a cautious open mind that gives a positive benefit of the doubt." Again, you read way too much into a simple post. You say you approach others with a "cautious open mind", but because I do not completely trust our oil companies you say that I am a "non thinker" and other such ridiculisms.
