Stefan, most "tests" of lows go below the previous mark then rally. Up trending tests usually stop before the mark, down trending counter rallies drop below then rally.

Hi Stefan,

I am not sure if there is any panic on the street but one of my friends about 10 back was telling me that "there is nothing that can take this market down since everything is factored into current price level"... so any bad news will be discounted and any good news will launch a major rally. Yesterday while talking he said "there is nothing to take this market higher... so why would it go any higher". Now he is expecting a sharp drop from the current price levels.... I don't think short side is the right side of the trade now... but what do I know ? Good news is being discounted or overshadowed by the bad news in this market.

Later,

Suresh
