And with unemployment up...the consumer is knocked out of the picture.

In the meantime, dubya just spoke about the economy and the need to reignite growth. Of course, he had to get partisan pointing out that he saw the slowdown last summer when he was campaigning [and that its Clinton's fault].....at least 3 mos before anyone else. That was good for a 20 point drop.

LOL Take that you techies. All of you thought the economy depended upon tech. and now we find out that the economy actually depends upon us lowly concrete guys keeping the economy from collapsing. You should kiss my a** for saving your skin; up until now that is. We have given you enough breathing room to get going, so get going already.
