Granting that further research is warranted, there appears to be an effect as significant as that validating many treatments, and it raises a couple of possibilities: Either human mentation is far more powerful than had previously been assumed, able to channel reparative "energies" to complete strangers one is not even in a position to visualize, or there is someone who hears the petition and responds to it. Are there any other choices?

Well, there seems to be more than a suggestion of a correlation.

Yes, a possible correlation. But no "theory" about how the transfer works. Someone else might want to speculate about that but I don't. I'll wait for something more substantive.

Regarding the one proposal, though, I imagine some might perceive this intelligence as Guy sitting on a throne on a cloud deciding whether or not to route Sam's prayers for Susie over to her and whether to convert them into healing or not. Or whether he wants to smite the guy who's running the study so he misdirects everything on purpose. Or whatever arbitrary and capricious thing he feels like doing with it. I'd rather it turn out to be a cosmic Cisco router.

I'll wait for the "theory," something to sink my teeth into, thanks.
