That is absurd. All organizations need money to flourish, and all membership organizations have rules for their members. That does not mean that the organization has nothing to offer its members, or that they have been conned.........

Again, I would suggest that you have not looked bast your own bias. The Christian church is built on the local congregations that manage themselves, while adhering to orthodox theology. There are established financial accountabilty standards and certification to which all responsible churches adhere. All of the local church's financial information is available for public inspection (except for the names and contribution amounts of individual donors). The money is used to support the ministry, missionaries, and to pay the bills. You can't do nothing without money.

The best Christian churches are not measured by their grandiose buildings, or the wealth of their membership, but by the integrity and generosity of the congregation. Neither money nor time is coerced, but given freely. Agape love and charity are integral to the Christian faith, and thus we can not help but to give freely what we have freely received.

I know that you consider this all foolishness. I speak of things for which you have no comprehension. But fools speak from ignorance. I speak only of things that I know and have seen.
