Re: But do I think that's why the stock price chart looks like it does?

Until AMD gets it's "model number" Athlons into stores, they are operating under a severe handicap. Presently, computers in stores and catalogs are simply lined up - and priced - by speed number. 90% of shoppers haven't the slightest idea of what constitutes performance and value in a computer so that number is what they use to judge what they should be paying for a PC. They have nothing else to go on.

According to the rumors at the various web sites, model number Athlons are due out around the end of this month. Then we'll see Athlon Model 1800 next to P4 1.8GHZ.

And AMD will be back in the ball game.

That's not true. He[Jerry] also knows how to get his options repriced in November.

In all fairness, I don't think Jerry has been able to pull this off lately. God knows he would have if he could. Didn't new tax laws make this much more difficult?

pretender,

RE:"Buy semis for Thanksgiving and sell them for Easter."

LOL, that's timing and we know that timing doesn't work.
The buy and holders told us...

Actually the buy in november sell in April used to work for the whole market.
