Amazing, indeed.

European markets got hammered today, more to come tommorrow till Thursday. German Dax and nemax index off lage scale. Nemax now off almost 90% from the high.

They can upgrade qualcomm all they want, I believe it trades lower come October.

Exodus on a real exodus now, 34 cents.

Quest warns, cuts capex, jobs.

8:52AM Qwest Comms (Q) 18.14: Company warns for second half of year; now sees 2001 EBITDA of $8.0 bln vs estimates in the $8.5-8.7 bln range and revenues of $20.5 bln vs the Multex consensus of $21.4 bln; also announces additional capex reductions to $8.5 bln from $8.8 bln in 2001 and to $5.5 bln from $7.5 bln in 2002; cuts 4,000 jobs.

Another blow for scambus:

8:27AM Rambus (RMBS) 6.42: USA Today reports that the Federal Trade Commission is investigating Rambus, Sun Microsystems (SUNW), and Unocal Corp (UCL) for potentially illegally keeping patents secret while helping to design industry standards.
