Some have found it to be quite otherwise

I was only speaking for the rest of us. Forget this crap about "studies". Prayer is individual. It works or it doesn't. Has it worked for you? The whole idea is idiotic. Suffering and death occur continuously, and all of it can be explained without bringing in silly concepts of favoritism from the sky pilot. Let us lose this "chosen person" mentality. The "study" quoted is garbage. I have a study which proves that the people in my locality win the lottery more than the people across the pond--at least for last year. Must be something in the water.

Our ideas of supernatural intervention come from the scribblings of ancient peoples. It did not work for them. will not work for you. Go to the gym and eat lots of vegetables. If you still get sick, find the best doctors you can afford. There has never been a credible instance of divine intervention. NOT ONE. You can pray all you like. It won't give you a new nose. Talk to a surgeon or a seamstress, and give them money...
