David: LOL! You've just touch on but ONE of the many areas wherein VLNC's new management is going to have to show some changes before the market, which is decidedly in a "show me the money" mood all across the board, issues any sort of favorable indications.

David: I think the company that John found the link to is called SPECTRONIC...if'n you didn't open his link! Too, the VLNC PR piece was from last October. However, we can only speculate that this Spectronic device is the same one that was offered up re the Oct. 2000 announcement.
But you'd think that VLNC would come out jointly with an announcement that they were providing the li-poly portion of it. It certainly makes good sense to use li-poly in an application which uses so much juice....
