Hey bubba, all we need to get Cap Gains tax cuts through is one leading Democrat backing it. That reportedly is about to happen in the person of John Kerry who may also be our next president so he wants to lead the charge. Can't promise it will happen but that's the word. And GW will go along with it. Then it's a done deal. Please keep your insults to yourself. I follow this stuff, okay?

"WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A temporary cut in Social Security (news - web sites) payroll taxes and a capital gains tax cut are two options that could help give the flagging U.S. economy a quick boost, Senate Republican leader Trent Lott said on Monday."

* Bush is OK on the cap gains cut but the Senate would need to back it too. That's where Kerry comes in. He'll seize the moment. Nice rally off that news, I think.
